This course provides an overview of the ethical principles, standards, and professional responsibilities that guide social work practice. Topics include confidentiality, professional boundaries, cultural competence, advocacy, accountability, and ethical decision-making. Students will analyze real-life case scenarios to understand the importance of ethical practice in maintaining integrity and professionalism in social work.

Students will also learn interviewing skills, counseling techniques, and intervention strategies for working with individuals, families, groups, and communities.
